Kevin Liang developed a strong interest in Photo-Realism in his early artist career. Paintings in this page have done from 1990-2006. He seems to lessen the excessive realism with the poetic sensibility found in Chinese literate paintings. He increased the amount of emotion and strengthened the expression of subjective feeling. Nature has been the primary source of inspiration for his art. His works are always centered around subjects he admires most: the home, the countryside, and serene, beautiful landscapes.
