“Thousand reds and oranges fight for the green”.

It was late October in Central Park NYC, Green leaves were turning yellow, orange, and red. Rays of sunlight and bands of shadow created a great contrast of warm and cold, light and dark. It reminds me of the harmony and beauty of nature.

I like to paint the complexity of colors with a variety of strokes, layer after layer. From start to finish, the painting may take more than a month to finish. I paint mainly with the palette knife to produce heavy textures and occasionally, in my final touches, use a brush.
