I have been to White Mountain, New Hampshire many times. It is one of my favorite places to paint in autumn. The various Fall colors in the trees, the contrast of the gold against the blue sky, the road curving into the distant mountain, are all subjects of my painting.

I like to paint the complexity of colors with a variety of strokes, layer after layer. From start to finish, each painting may take more than a month. I paint mainly with the palette knife to produce heavy textures and occasionally, in my final touches, use a brush.
