Yellow Green and Purple, oil on canvas 42x50x2 inches with frame, 2024

The brimming waver delight the eyes on sunny day,
Spring air pours across the green and glassy water.
Ideas for poems sway in the shadows of the tree,
My dream spirit rows to the sound of the wind.
In nature purple forest look wonderful against green foliage. The purple has special qualities to me. The smallest variation in density of tone is significant. Purple in this painting appears airy and atmospheric. Spring is coming and everything will be renew again.
I like to paint the complexity of colors with a variety of strokes, layer after layer. From start to finish, each painting may take more than a month. I paint mainly with the palette knife to produce heavy textures and occasionally, in my final touches, use a brush.
